Dear friends, family and customers,
I recently participated in The Life’s Good Project,a unique social study which is currently asking people around Australia what makes their life good. Out of hundreds of entries, my ‘Life’s Good’ moment - making a positive impact in someone’s life and seeing the smile on their face - was selected and is now being lived out, thanks to LG Electronics.
So now, I’m asking women in Melbourne’s CBD to help make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate by donating pre-loved gowns to the Debutante Dress Drive, a dedicated day in Melbourne CBD when Australians can show their generosity by donating their pre-loved dresses to those less fortunate.
I will be taking a selection of the donated dresses, tailor them and pass them on to less fortunate young women in the local area so they can feel like royalty for their special night. The remaining dresses will be donated to a good cause.
If you live or work in Melbourne CBD or know others who do, you can get behind this great cause. Any donations – big, small, bright or tight - are welcome!
To make a donation, simply email debdressdrive@pulsecom.com.au or register your interest via the Life’s Good Project Facebook app which can be found via the LG Australia page, www.facebook.com/LGAustralia and LG will arrange collection or inform you of the nearest drop off point.
The deadline for registering dress donations is Monday 29th August, 5pm.
